Samsung has officially introduced its new affordable smartphone in Nepal. Dubbed as Galaxy M02s, the phone comes with features like a triple camera setup, a large 5,000mAh battery, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. In India, Samsung already confirmed that the Galaxy M02s will launch on January 7 and is said to be priced under Rs. 10,000 in the region.
Samsung Galaxy M02s comes in a single storage configuration featuring 64GB built-in storage and 4GB RAM. The device comes in three color options namely black, blue, and red, and is up for grabs at a price tag of NPR 15,999 (approx. Rs. 9,900). The phone is on sale via online stores in the region like Daraz.com.

Samsung Galaxy M02s specifications
Coming to the hardware, Samsung Galaxy M02s has a 6.5-inch TFT panel having a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels and a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the device runs on octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. The onboard storage is expandable via a microSD card.
In the camera department, the triple camera setup offers a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, you get a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Camera features include ISO control, auto flash, digital zoom, HDR, and exposure compensation.
The phone ships with Android 10-based company’s own OneUI on top and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, dual-SIM, and more.
