South Korean giant Samsung has announced special discounted prices for its Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M01s smartphones. The brand has made a reduction in the price of two budget phones. Here’s a look at the current prices of the two devices.
The Samsung Galaxy M01 comes in a single storage variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant. Earlier priced at Rs 7,999, it can now be purchased at Rs 7,499 after a price cut of Rs 500. Samsung Galaxy M01s will be available with a price label of Rs 8,999 instead of its earlier price of Rs 9,499. These two phones will be available on offline partner retail stores across India and major e-commerce platforms at a slashed price.
Alongside these two models, Samsung also announced a price cut on Galaxy Buds+ and Galaxy Buds Live. So, now Galaxy Buds+ can be purchased for Rs 8,990, down from the earlier price tag of Rs 11,990. Similarly, Galaxy Buds Live is now priced at Rs 11,990 instead of its previous price of Rs 14,990.
Samsung Galaxy M01 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy M01 flaunts a 5.71-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It packs a 1.95Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of native storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card slot. There is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
For optics, there is a dual-camera setup with a combination of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calling, it has a 5-megapixel f/2.2 aperture camera.
The handset runs on the Android 10 OS with OneUI. It is backed up with a 4,000mAh battery. The device measures 146.4 x 70.86 x 9.8 mm. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy M01s Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M01s adorn a 6.2-inch TFT which will come with an HD+ resolution. The display comes with an infinity-V-style notch that packs the selfie camera.
The handset makes use of the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC clubbed with an octa-Core CPU. The device is launched with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration and will ship with a 4,000mAh battery. There is also a dedicated microSD card slot in the device to expand the storage up to 512GB.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy M01s equips a dual-rear camera module which comprises a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. You get a “Live Focus” feature with interesting effects while capturing the images. The notch upfront comprises an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The phone supports Dolby Atmos technology and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is also a face unlock feature.
