Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G smartphone first availability and colors variants leaked

Since past few months, we heard a lot about Samsung’s foldable smartphone as it is not the first one to launch foldable phone but is the most-awaited smartphone. According to recent rumours, Samsung’s much-hyped foldable smartphone could announce in its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on February 20 which is expected to launch the flagship Galaxy S10 lineup.

The upcoming Foldable smartphone is also expected to come in two variants one is a standard version and other is 5G Galaxy Fold which offers a5G network capability. The company is reportedly planning to ship only 1 million foldable devices in the first year. The production scale will gradually depend on customer demand.

Previously the company said that the phone will be launched globally. But it looks like the 5G model will be limited to South Korean initially as most markets won’t have live commercial 5G connectivity solutions.

According to the new report from SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Fold with Model number SM-F907Nwill be offered in South Korean as the network carriers have already completed deployment and are waiting on manufacturers to release compatible smartphones. Samsung’s most likely first 5G smartphone will be Galaxy S10 which already started working on this variant’s firmware for South Korea. The report also includes the Galaxy Fold will be available in four colour options — Blue, Green, Silver, and Black.

As far specifications are concerned, The Galaxy Fold is expected to feature a 4.6-inch screen with 840×1960 pixels resolution that would turn into a 7.3-inch screen with 1536×2152 pixels resolution. Along with this, the device will be armed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or the Exynos 9820 processors depending on the market. For the battery, The device could pack a massive power package up to 6,000mAh capacity in the device.

For pricing, as per previous rumours, the device may be priced around the $1,800 mark, that is approximately more than Rs 150,000.
