Another device from the F-series is on the way from Samsung. Galaxy F42 5G has been spotted on Geekbench. On the benchmarking site, the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G is listed with its model number SM-E426B.
As per Geekbench, the phone will feature a 2.0GHz octa-core processor. In the listing, MT6833V/NZA is written as the chipset model name. MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor will power Samsung’s upcoming smartphone.
It is revealed in the listing that this phone is running the Android 11 operating system. Most likely, it will use One UI Core 3.1. It scored 559 points in the single-core test and 1719 points in the multicore test. The device comes equipped with 6GB of RAM. When it launches, it might have more RAM options.
In addition to appearing on Geekbench, the device has also been spotted on various certification sites including Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). BIS listing indicates that the phone will also be launched in India in the near future.
Samsung’s F-series phones are just rebranded versions of its existing A-series or M-series smartphones. The F42 5G may be nothing but a rebranded version of the A22 5G. At present, the Galaxy A22 5G is the only Dimensity 700 chip-powered phone from the brand.

It is expected that the Galaxy F42 5G will feature a 6.6-inch TFT LCD Infinity-U display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Dimensity 700 powered phone could offer up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage.
This phone might feature a 5000mAh or a 6000mAh battery with 15W charging. At the back, it is likely to have a 48MP+5MP+2MP triple-camera setup. The fingerprint sensor could be mounted on the side.
Connectivity features will include GPS, 5G, a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
