Samsung Galaxy A9 which was launched in Malaysia last month is now will soon go on sale in India in November. The piece of information was obtained from Samsung official site in India. And the launch could be held probably on November 4 that is tomorrow which seems in-advance with the company’s earlier statement. The listed device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with a price tag Rs 39,000. At the time, In launch event in Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) was announced for EUR 599 (approximately Rs 51,300) for the European market.
The key selling point to be highlighted for the smartphone is the new Galaxy A9 is first of its kind smartphone which features a quad-camera setup on the back. On the rear side, the phone includes a 24-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front side, the device comes equipped with a 24-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies and video calling.
Apart from the camera, The handset comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with 2220×1080 pixels resolution, and 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone armed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM under the hood. There is 128GB storage on board, which can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
The phone backs with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. It also supports Face Unlock feature. On the software front, the handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box with Samsung’s Experience UX. The phone is powered by a 3,800mAh battery with support for fast charging.
