[Leaked] Samsung Galaxy A8s Specs in a new render: Report

Samsung Is prepping up to unveil its first Infinity-O display mid-range smartphone dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A8s. The design of the device already revealed by various new leaks that includes a small circular cutout for the selfie camera spotted on All About Samsung report. The report gives aclear cut view how the cut out looks like.

The report also reveals the specifications of the device which reveals that Galaxy A8s will sport a 6.4-inch display. The handset will be armed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. There also news the smartphone comes with another variant powered by an Exynos chipset for countries like India in the works.

Under the hood, The device will come with 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. On software, It will run Google’s Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the company’s own One UI skin on top. All of this will be backed by a 3,400mAh battery.

On Camera, the Samsung Galaxy A8s is said to bear 24-megapixel, 5-megapixel, and 10-megapixel sensors at the back. For series, there is a 24-megapixel sensor that will be housed in a display hole. The size of the hole is said to be 6.7mm. The report claims that the smartphone will launch in January in a Black-Grey gradient colour option.

There are some more renders on the upcoming Galaxy A8s handset. As per a tweet by SamsungMobile.News, the cutout of Samsung Galaxy A8s front camera is 6.7mm in size. It also claims that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 will also adopt the Infinity-O display, but with a 2mm to 3mm smaller cutout.

In between, renowned tipster  Ice Universe has leaked an alleged screen protector of the Galaxy A8s. The leaked image showcases an in-screen cutout in the upper left corner of the display. where he also included the launch details that is in December this year.

It is likely that Huawei is also in this race of hole design. The company also launching a new smartphone with the same design as the rumoured Galaxy A8s.
