Finally, Samsung launched the Galaxy A8s in China. It is the first smartphone with the Infinity-O display. After announcing the Galaxy A8s, Samsung teased it’s triple rear cameras and punch hole display multiple times.
Prior to Samsung’s launch of Galaxy A8s, Honor also announced Honor View20 with in-display selfie camera or in other words called as punch hole display. Honor also claimed that it’s the first brand to bring punch hole camera display smartphone, but to be frank it is the Samsung who launched first.
Samsung Galaxy A8s specifications
Galaxy A8s is featured with 6.4-inch Full HD+ display and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is power packed with Snapdragon 710. This will be available in 6GB or 8GB RAM variants, and internal storage of 128GB which can be further expandable up to 512GB. It got the 3,400mAh battery on the back and the saddest truth is the absence of headphone jack.
It also got the beautiful triple camera setup which includes a 24-megapixel primary, 10MP telephoto lens with a 2X zoom and a 5-megapixel depth camera. To capture gorgeous selfies it got 24-megapixel on the front which is similar to the Galaxy A9.
Samsung Galaxy A8s Price and Availability
Samsung didn’t announce the price of the smartphones but confirmed that the Galaxy A8s will be available for pre-orders in China soon. There’s no information available about the India launch, whether we can expect this in India or not. Stay tuned for more updates.
