Samsung Galaxy A82 made a mark on Geekbench with some of its specifications. Although the benchmarking site has not revealed many details about the phone, it looks like the South Korean smartphone maker is getting ready to launch the successor of the 2-year-old Samsung Galaxy A80. This is the first time we are hearing about the Samsung Galaxy A82 smartphone online.
The phone spotted on the Geekbench listing, which is the alleged Samsung Galaxy A82 bears the model number SM-A826S and runs on Android 11 out of the box (likely with custom OneUI 3.1 skin). And, it comes with 6GB of RAM.
The motherboard of the device has the codename “msmnile.” The processor is believed to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ that was introduced back in late 2018. Besides, the processor is an octa-core 1.78GHz chipset. In terms of benchmark scores, the device attained a single-core score of 755 points. While the multi-core score came at 2630 points.
Note that Samsung has not shared any official information about this phone. We will have to wait for their official announcement on the Galaxy A82.

Meanwhile, in an online event yesterday, Samsung India has announced the Galaxy A32 4G in the country for a price tag of Rs 21,999 for the single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The key highlights of the phone are a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G85, 64MP quad rear camera setup, and massive 5,000mAh battery.
