Samsung has officially launched Samsung Galaxy A80 in India today. The Galaxy A80 is the seventh smartphone launched in the most popular Galaxy A series. It is also the world’s first smartphone to come with the unique Rotating Triple Camera Setup.
Firstly, The Galaxy A80 was launched in Thailand months ago. This is the most premium smartphone in the Galaxy A series till now. 48Mp triple rotating camera setup, notch-less New Infinity display are some of the highlights of Samsung Galaxy A80.
Samsung Galaxy A80 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A80 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. This is the first smartphone from the company to come with the new infinity display. The notch-less display also gives a better viewing and gaming experience.
The most highlighted specifications to be discussed is the camera setup. Samsung Galaxy A80 sports a triple rotating camera comprising a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a ToF camera. With the rotating camera mechanism, the same rear camera setup can be used as the front cameras. This unique camera design removes the requirement of a notch and offers a full-screen display.
Galaxy A80 comes powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 730G processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It runs Android Pie OS along with Samsung One UI and houses a 3,700mAh with 25W Super-Fast Charging with USB Type C.
Samsung Galaxy A80 Price
The Galaxy A80 comes in only one variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and made available in host White, Phantom Black and Angel Gold colour variants. The Galaxy A80 is priced at Rs.47,990 and the pre-bookings of the smartphone will be live between July 22 to July 31.
On pre-bookings, consumers will also be eligible for one-time screen replacement. CITI Bank Credit Card customers will also be eligible for an additional 5% cashback as part of the launch offer.
The sale of this smartphone will start from August 1 and will be available across all retail stores, e-Shop, Samsung Opera House and all leading online channels.
