Samsung has been updating its Galaxy A-series lineup by launching multiple smartphones. The latest add-ons to the Galaxy A-series lineup are the Samsung Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80. Both the smartphones are launched together and Galaxy A70 is already available on sale.
Samsung Galaxy A80 is expected to be launched in India very soon. Galaxy A80 is the first smartphone from the company to come with a rotating camera, triple camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera.
Ahead of the official launch, Samsung Galaxy A80 is listed on the official Samsung website with detailed specifications and features of the smartphone. There is also a “Notify Me” available on the page, on enabling users will be able to receive the launch updates and news.
With this official listing, we can expect the launch of Galaxy A80 in India within two weeks from now. The price details of Samsung Galaxy A80 for the Indian market is still not revealed by the company.
Samsung Galaxy A80 Price
Samsung Galaxy A80 was launched in Thailand at a price of EUR 649 [Rs. 50,500 Approx.] Some leaked reports suggest that this smartphone will come with a price range of Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 in India. We should wait for the announcement from the company to know the exact prices.
Samsung Galaxy A80 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A80 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED New Infinity Display with 1080 x 2400 resolution and an On-screen fingerprint sensor.
This notch-less smartphone comes with a unique rotating camera setup which acts as the primary and secondary camera. The triple camera setup comprises of a 48MP primary camera, 8MP camera and a TOF camera.
This smartphone is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 730G processor which is announced by Qualcomm recently. Galaxy A80 is the first smartphone from Samsung to come with this chipset. It comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and is available in three colour variants Phantom Black, Ghost White and Angel Gold.
This smartphone runs Samsung One UI along with Android Pie OS and is backed by 3,700mAh battery which supports 25W Super Fast Charging. It comes with a USB Type-C port at the bottom but the 3.5mm audio jack is absent.
