Samsung Galaxy A80 Launch in India and Price Confirmed

Samsung confirmed that it will be launching Samsung Galaxy M40, the fourth smartphone in the Galaxy M-series lineup in India on 11 June. Some reports suggest that Samsung may also launch Samsung Galaxy A80 which is already launched in Bangkok earlier in April.

It is also expected that Samsung Galaxy A80 will go on sale in India in the month of June. The most special feature of the Galaxy A80 is its slider front camera setup, which makes the smartphone design unique. Samsung didn’t confirm the official prices of Galaxy A80 in India but based on the features and the specifications it may be priced around Rs.45,000.

Samsung Galaxy A80 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A80 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED New Infinity Display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution. This notch-less smartphone is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 730 processor, and this is the first smartphone from Samsung to come with this chipset.

Galaxy A80 runs One UI based on Android 9 Pie OS. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. No microSD slot is given on the phone. It is backed by a 3700mAh battery which also supports fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A80 sports a triple camera setup which comprises of a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 3D depth camera. This is the first smartphone from Samsung to come with a 48MP camera. As it got slider camera setup, users can use the same configuration on the front side too. Rear camera setup got modes like Night Mode, Panorama Mode, Pro Mode, Super Slow-mo mode and many more.
