Alongside the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A53 5G, the South Korean smartphone maker has also silently launched the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G smartphone. 

The Galaxy A73 5G will go on sale in limited markets from April 22. There is no information on when it will launch in India. We can expect more details soon from Samsung India.

There is no information regarding the pricing of Samsung’s new Galaxy A73 5G device. The phone is offered in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage options. These options vary depending on the region. 

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G Specifications

The Galaxy A73 5G sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and hole-punch cutout at the top center. It packs Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot that lets users expand storage up to 1TB. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the A73 5G.

Camera-wise, the Galaxy A73 5G has a quad-camera setup. The device features a 108MP main camera sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and two 5MP sensors for depth sensor and macro sensor. There is no optical telephoto camera on the A73 5G. On the front, there is a 32MP camera.

In addition to a 5000mAh battery, it supports 25W fast charging. There is no charger in the box. The device comes pre-loaded with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 on top. Samsung has promised up to four years of Android updates and five years of security updates. It measures 76.1 x 163.7 x 7.6mm and weighs 181 grams.
