Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest smartphones under the Galaxy A-series, in which the company is expected to unveil two phones—Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52. While these phones have been in the news from quite some time now, none of the reports in the past have detailed the exact timeline of launch. While the company has not yet confirmed the official launch date, it has been tipped by FronTron through a Samsung live stream link on YouTube (which is now removed).
According to reports, it is reported that a tipster, FronTron has tweeted that the South Korean company is likely to launch Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52 at Galaxy Unpacked March 2021 event scheduled for March 17.

The support page of the Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 smartphones are also live on the Samsung India website hints at the possibility of these devices in India as well. Both the handsets are expected to be launched in 4G and 5G variants. However, Samsung India hasn’t made any announcement in this regard yet.
Samsung Galaxy A52 Specifications (Rumored)
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display. The upcoming smartphone will have a quad-camera module at the back. The camera module is expected to house four sensors comprising a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel sensor, and two 5-megapixel sensors. In the front, the phone will likely sport a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
Internally, the Samsung Galaxy A52 is rumored to pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. It will be paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB onboard storage. The handset may be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The phone is said to run on Android 11 OS-based OneUI 3.1 skin.
Samsung Galaxy A72 Specifications (Rumoured)
The Samsung Galaxy A72 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 720G. The smartphone is likely to offer 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The storage will be further expandable through a microSD card.
Coming to the cameras, the phone is likely to feature a quad rear camera setup with a combination of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and an 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens.
The smartphone might feature a 16 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. The phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
