After a few leaks and official TENAA certification, the Samsung Galaxy A70 is now officially unveiled today. The company has added another smartphone to its growing Galaxy-A line-up with the introduction of the Galaxy A70. The company has already confirmed to unveil a new smartphone in the Galaxy A line-up on April 10.
Samsung Galaxy A70 Specifications
The new Samsung Galaxy A70 has a 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s powered by the company’s homegrown chipset which is clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded with a MicroSD card up to 512GB, and a 4500mAh battery which does support 25W Super-Fast Charging.
As for the triple-camera arrangement, there’s a primary 32-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 aperture with another 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and g-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. There is 32-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture on the front. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and offers Android 9.0 Pie layered over with the proprietary One UI skin.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy A70 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Samsung Galaxy A70 Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A70 will be available in four color options — Black, Blue, Coral, and White. It’s expected to get more information on the device on April 10th where the company is rumored to launch the Galaxy A90 smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. Samsung has yet not revealed the pricing and availability.
