The Samsung Galaxy A51 is now official. After a series of renders getting leaked in the past few months, the company has today finally launched a new smartphone in its A-series lineup, at an event in Vietnam.
Samsung Galaxy A51 Price and Availability
The Galaxy A51 comes with a starting price of 7,990,000 VND (approx. Rs 24,500) in Vietnam. The pre-orders will start on December 16 and it will be available for buyers from December 27. Those who pre-order will get a Bluetooth headset and a 10,000mAh power bank from the company. The smartphone will be available in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Blue and Prism Crush Pink are the color options. There is no word on the global availability of Galaxy A51 or an India launch as yet.
Samsung Galaxy A51 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A51 features a 6.5-inches Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It supports in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for unlocking the device.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A51 has a 2.3GHz octa-core Exynos 9611 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. To power everything, the phone includes a 4000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. Furthermore, it comes with Dolby atmos. On the software side, it runs Android 10 OS out-of-the-box with One UI 2.0 skin.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy A51 has an f/2.2 aperture 32-megapixel lens on the front and a rectangle-shaped quad camera setup on the rear. The rear camera setup include a 48-megapixel main lens with f/2.0 aperture, a depth sensor of 5-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture, a macro lens of 5-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture and a ultrawide lens of 12-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture.
