Samsung Galaxy A51 Gets FCC Certification, Tips Imminent Launch

Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy A51, has now received certification from the Federal Communications Commission hinting at the imminent launch.

The Galaxy A51 spotted on FCC certification site with a model number EB-BA515ABY. Since the handset has already received FCC approval, the Galaxy A51 arrival is now considered imminent. So far, however, Samsung hasn’t confirmed the launch date for the smartphone yet.

According to the earlier reports, the forthcoming Galaxy A51 will feature a quad camera setup on the rear which includes a 5MP dedicated macro instead of a telephoto sensor. The other three rear cameras on the setup will comprises of a 48MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth-sensing camera. On the front, it will come equipped with 32MP camera housed inside the punch hole in the center of the display.

Based on the Bluetooth certification received previously, the handset will carry support for Bluetooth 5.0. Furthermore, the device also received Wi-Fi Alliance certification with model number SM-A515F/DSM. According to the Wi-Fi alliance listing, the phone will run latest Android 10 OS. It will have dual Wi-Fi band capabilities and support for 802.11 ac standard.

A recent leak of the Galaxy A51 also revealed that the handset will come with a 4000 mAh battery. Other feature of the phone includes a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display (2340 x 1080 pixels resolution) .

The phone’s earlier Geekbench listing also revealed few specs of the phone include Exynos 9611 SoC, 4GB of RAM and Android 10 OS.
