Samsung announced two new 5G smartphones during its Galaxy A-series launch event. At the event, the South Korean giant has unveiled the Galaxy A53 5G as well as the Galaxy A33 5G.  It is expected that the devices will be launched in India soon. The details regarding India’s launch date, pricing, and availability will be announced shortly by Samsung India.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, A53 5G Pricing, Availability

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB 256GB models. It has a starting price of £329 (approximately Rs 32,800).

The Galaxy A53 5G is also available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options. It has a starting price of £399 (approximately Rs 39,800).

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, A53 5G Specifications

In terms of display, the Galaxy A33 5G features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate support. 

It has a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the 13MP front camera. It has a quad-camera setup on the back. The device is fitted with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear.

Powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC, the handset gets up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. It comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The charger is not provided in the box.

Software-wise, it boots Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 skin. It has an IP67 rating for water resistance. The handset weighs 186 grams and is 8.1mm thick.

Galaxy A53 5G sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The 32MP front camera is located in the hole-punch cutout at the top center. The rear quad-camera setup of the phone includes a 64MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. All other specifications are the same as the Galaxy A33 5G.
