Samsung Galaxy A31 appears on Geekbench revealing more specifications

Samsung Galaxy A31, the phone which first appeared on the WiFi certification site has now surfaced on Geekbench. Appearing as SM-A315F, the Samsung Galaxy A31 is powered by a MediaTek chipset that is mentioned as MT6768V/CA that has a base frequency of 1.70GHz. and paired with 4GB of RAM. It also runs the Android 10 operating system out of the box. For the benchmark scores, the Nokia 6 (2018) pulls 349 points in the single-core test and 1291 points in the multi-core test. 

 

The same device also spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website and revealed the model number Samsung SM-A31F_DS. It also received the Wi-fi certification with the model number SM-A31F/DS and the certification disclosed that the handset will support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz network bands. It will have Wi-Fi Direct support including Wi-Fi a/b.

As per the earlier reports, the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy A31 will pack a 5,000mAh battery which is 1,000mAh bigger as compared to the Galaxy A30. It will feature a dual-camera setup of a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. Upfront, there will be a 25-megapixel shooter. The handset might sport a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

It will come equipped with connectivity options like 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port.
