Samsung Galaxy A30, Galaxy A50 Unveiled with Infinity-U display, 4,000mAh battery

Samsung Galaxy A-series has debuted in India with Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50. These series phones are set to compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi line-up, RealMe, and Asus Zenfone series. Samsung Galaxy A series phones come with new Infinity-U display, 4,000mAh battery with fast charging. Samsung Galaxy A30 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A30 comes with a 3G Glasstic back with a dual-rear camera setup and fingerprint sensor. On the front, it has a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with the new Infinity-V display. It runs on Android 8.1.0 Oreo and is powered by octa-core processor with two RAM and storage variants: 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 512GB using microSD card.

In the camera department, Samsung Galaxy A30 has a dual-rear camera setup featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie-camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Key features of the phone include face unlock, fingerprint sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery. It is expected to run on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A50 comes with a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ Infinity-V display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by the company’s own Exynos 9610 chipset.

The 4GB RAM model packs 64GB of internal storage while the 6GB RAM model comes with 128GB of internal storage. The phone also comes with a microSD card slot which enables users to further expand the storage capacity up to 512GB. There’s in-display fingerprint sensor and the phone also supports Face Unlock feature.

For imaging, the Galaxy A50 comes with a triple rear camera set up along with a 25-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, it comes equipped with a hefty 25-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.0 aperture.
