A single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the Samsung Galaxy A22 costs Rs 18,499 in India. You can choose between two colors: Black or Mint. Currently, Samsung India is the only place to buy the phone.

Galaxy A22 4G comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, the phone features a 950MHz Mali-G52 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB onboard storage. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 1TB).
At the back, there are four cameras. The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth sensing. At the front, you will find a 13-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.2.
On the battery front, Samsung Galaxy A22 4G comes equipped with a 5000mAh non-removable battery with fast charging technology of 15W. The device runs Android 11 with One UI 3 skin. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports face unlock as well.
Connectivity options include USB-C, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset measures 159.3×73.6×8.4mm and weighs 186 grams.
It is also expected that Samsung will launch its Galaxy A22 5G phone in India shortly. On the Samsung website, a support page for the phone is live, hinting at the upcoming launch.
