Samsung Galaxy A22 price in India, specifications revealed ahead of launch

A report claims the Samsung Galaxy A22 is already available on offline stores in India and it has leaked pricing information ahead of its arrival. Samsung had previously released the Galaxy A22 in Europe in 4G and 5G models. It is expected that the 4G model will be launched in India. Samsung has not made any official announcements regarding the launch of the Galaxy A22 in India.

A report from 91Mobiles claims Samsung’s Galaxy A22 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will cost Rs. 18,499 in India. The publication shared a leaked poster showing that the smartphone will be released in Black, Mint and the specifications are identical to the European model. 

Among the launch offers mentioned on the poster are the free home delivery, Samsung Care package,  Samsung Finance+, and Samsung Care+. Reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy A22 is already available for purchase in the offline market. 

Samsung Galaxy A22 4G Specifications 

Samsung Galaxy A22 4G comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED panel that offers HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 with up to 950MHz ARM Mali-G52 GPU and 4GB/6GB of RAM. It packs an internal storage of 64GB/128GB. The handset runs on Android 11 OS and One UI 3 skin.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 4G has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. It has a front camera of 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera module has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and an LED flash. 

Connectivity options on the phone include USB-C, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a headphone jack. In addition, a fingerprint scanner is on the side.
