Samsung Galaxy A22 India launch could happen soon as the upcoming Galaxy A series smartphone has now received BIS certification.
A Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-A225F has received BIS certification. This smartphone is believed to be the Galaxy A22 4G version. The company is also working on Galaxy A22 5G (SM-A226B model number) smartphone. Samsung is yet to make anything official.
Likewise, the Galaxy A22 has also appeared on HTML5Test benchmarking with Android 11 OS. Sadly, none of the listings have details on the Galaxy A22’s specs. Most likely, the Galaxy A22 4G will resemble the Galaxy A22 5G in design. However, the A22 5G will have a 5G-ready chipset under the hood.

Talking about the specs, the Galaxy A22 5G is tipped to pack Dimensity 720 or Dimensity 700 or Snapdragon 480 SoC under the hood. It is likely to come equipped with a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a quad-rear camera setup with a combination of a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is rumored to launch in two variants. However, there are no details on the models that are launching. It may be offered in gray, white, light green, and purple color options. At last, the smartphone is likely to be priced under 229 euros (approx. Rs 20,450).
