Samsung Galaxy A22 5G to launch in India on July 23

Samsung will launch the Galaxy A22 5G in India this week. The brand confirmed today that it will launch the phone on July 23. Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy A22 4G smartphone in India. It is now time to launch the 5G model. The company has announced the India launch date of the Galaxy A22 5G through its official Twitter account. 

Both the 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy A22 were announced in Europe last month. The 4GB+64GB variant of the 5G model was launched for €230 (approximately Rs 20,300). There are four colors to choose from: Gray, White, Mint, and Violet

For a single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, Samsung Galaxy A22 4G will cost you Rs 18,499 in India. It is available in Black and Mint. Currently, the phone can be purchased through the Samsung India website.

There are rumors that the price for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Galaxy A22 5G may start at Rs 19,999 in India. The handset’s specs are already known since it is launched in Europe.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Specifications 

The phone comes with a Full HD+ 6.6-inch IPS LCD Infinity-V display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Furthermore, it offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor, the phone packs 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB.

The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support of 15W. The phone runs on the Android 10 operating system with OneUI 3.1. Additionally, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the phone has face recognition.

This phone comes with a triple camera setup at the back. The phone has a 48MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.8, a 5MP ultrawide lens with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. It also has a front camera of 8MP for taking selfies.

Additionally, the phone includes dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type C port.
