We’ve seen several rumors surrounding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A22 5G smartphone and the device recently certified by the BIS certification site hinting at the imminent launch in India. Now the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has made its way to Geekbench listing. The device was spotted with the model number SM-A226B.

The benchmark talks about using the MT6833V motherboard. This codename hides the MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 SoC. The processor combines eight computing cores with a frequency of up to 2.20 GHz.
The model tested on Geekbench has 6GB of RAM, but we can expect another variant. The operating system is Android 11. The phone managed 562 single-core points and 1765 points in the multi-core department.
According to previous leaks, Samsung Galaxy A22 5G will bring a 6.5-inch Infinity-V display and a plastic back panel. For cameras, there’s talk of a triple-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
The Galaxy A22 will be the successor to the Galaxy A21. It is said to be Samsung’s cheapest 5G smartphone that might be priced at around KRW 200,000 (approx. Rs 13,425). A previous report indicates that the phone will launch in Southeast Asia, Europe, South Korean, and Indian markets. It comes in four colour options, which include – Gray, White, Light Green, and Violet.
