Samsung has announced a new launch date for the new Galaxy A-series smartphone in India. The company has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A21s India launch will now happen on June 17. According to a recent report, Galaxy A21s will be priced between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 in India and it will be sold across both offline and online channels in the country. The brand has already launched the Galaxy A21s in London with 5G connectivity.
The Galaxy A21s will be available for buyers in the UK from June 19th with a starting price of £179.00 (approx. Rs. 16,000). It comes in Black, White, and Blue colors. Buyers will also get six months of free Spotify Premium subscription with the Galaxy A21s and other select Galaxy A-series devices.
Samsung Galaxy A21s Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A21s comes equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-O display with a screen resolution of 720 X 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2GHz and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
Even though the company hasn’t officially announced the exact processor name, the Geekbench listing suggested that it might be the Exynos 850.
As for the optics, the Galaxy A21s features a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 lens. There is a 13MP snapper with an f/2.2 aperture on the front for selfies and video chats.
On the back, it has a fingerprint scanner. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
On the software side of things, the phone comes with immersive Dolby Atmos audio. The handset boots Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 skin on top. Other features of the handset include Dolby Atmos audio, facial recognition technology, and the phone is pre-installed with Samsung Health and Samsung Members apps.
