Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Price, Specifications Leaked Online; Expected to Launch Soon

This year Samsung aimed towards launching as many budget phones are possible. The company has already launched several mid-range phones in India and now they are working on another Android Go smartphone named Galaxy A2 Core. Now, the Galaxy A2 Core price in India and specifications leaked and hints that the device is set to be unveiled soon.

The specifications sheet and prices of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A2 Core which Samsung is expected to release in coming days have now appeared online.

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Specifications

As per the leak, the device features a 5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960x540pixels. The new Galaxy A2 Core is said to be powered by the company’s own 1.6 GHz Samsung Exynos 7870 octa-core processor. It has 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and runs Android 9 Pie OS. The internal storage which could be further boosted via microSD card. According to the reports, it will come with the Smart Manager feature to optimize device performance by closing background apps, a part of Make for India initiative. It will also notify users to uninstall unwanted apps that haven’t been used for long.

For smartphone photography enthusiasts, the A2 Core packs a 5-megapixel single rear camera. For selfies, it has a 5-megapixel front camera. Keeping the smartphone ticking will be a 2,600mAh battery. The device measures 141.5 x 70.9 x 9.1mm and comes with a plastic body with a glossy finish.

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Price and Launch Date

Talking about the price, Samsung Galaxy A2 Core will be priced at Rs 5,290 in India. While we don’t yet have an official launch date for the Galaxy A2 Core, we expect the device to launch soon. If this leak is to be believed then the upcoming Galaxy A2 Core will compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A, Redmi 6A and the Redmi Go in India that were priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs 4,499 respectively.
