Samsung is prepping for its Galaxy A03s successor. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A04s, the device has appeared on benchmarking site Geekbench revealing the key specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A series smartphone.
To recall, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A03s in India last year with MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and up to 4GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A04s has been listed with SM-A047F model number on the Geekbench database. As far as the software is concerned, it will run on Android 12 out of the box and it is likely to ship with OneUI 4.0 skin.
Additionally, the device will be equipped with Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 850 octa-core processor built using an 8nm fabrication process. Additionally, this is coupled with an ARM Mali-G52 MP1 GPU as well.
According to the database, the device has 3GB of RAM. However, Samsung will likely introduce two RAM and storage options, as it did with the predecessor Galaxy A03s.
The device managed to achieve 152 scores in the single-core test and 585 scores in the multi-core test. Other than these details, the listing provides no information about the new smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A03s Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A03s sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixels resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio and has an Infinity-V notch for the front camera.
Samsung Galaxy A03s features an octa-core Mediatek Helio P35 MT6765 processor with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. A microSD card can be used to expand the storage by up to 1TB.
This phone features a triple camera setup at the back. In addition to a 13MP primary sensor, it has a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor on the back. There is a 5MP camera on the front of the smartphone.
In terms of software, the device runs Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.1 skin. It comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. A fingerprint reader is mounted on the side. It also has a face recognition feature.
As far as connectivity is concerned, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
