Samsung Galaxy A03 Core announced: Check details

| By DWR Editor

Samsung has silently added a new budget handset to its Galaxy A series. The company has unveiled the Galaxy A03 Core smartphone with a 5,000mAh battery, 4G LTE support, and an octa-core processor. There is no word yet on the price or availability of the new Galaxy A03 Core smartphone, but Samsung Media Press lists its specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A03 Core specifications

Samsung’s Galaxy A03 Core comes with a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ waterdrop notch display and a bigger bottom chin. It is powered by an octa-core processor, with four cores running at 1.6GHz speed and the other four at 1.2GHz. The clock speeds match the Unisoc SC9863A chipset, so it is assumed to be a Unisoc processor. Furthermore, it has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

On the back, there is a single 8MP sensor with an f 2.0 aperture and the front side of the phone features a 5MP camera sensor with an f2.2 aperture. In addition, the device comes with a 5,000mAh battery, without any mention of fast charging. We can therefore assume the device only supports 10W charging. It has a dual nano-SIM card slot and a microSD card slot. There are two available colors: Blue and Black.

Details about its pricing and availability are still to be confirmed. We expect the smartphone to go on sale in the upcoming festive season.
