South Korean brand Samsung has quietly added a new model to its long list of A-series smartphones in Vietnam. Called Galaxy A01, it is a budget smartphone and it will compete against entry-level phones from the other brands.
Samsung Galaxy A01 Specifications
Coming to the specs of the Galaxy A01, the handset sports a 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution. The display sports a waterdrop notch Infinity-V display design. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage is further expandable through a microSD card. The phone features face unlocking as there is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and the entire package is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, it comes equipped with the dual rear camera setup. The Galaxy A01 sports a 13-megapixel main shooter offering f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front lies a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the Galaxy A01. The handset runs on Android 10 OS, which is based on OneUI 2.0. Other features on the phone include accelerometer, proximity, light sensor, and FM Radio.

Samsung Galaxy A01 Price and Availability
The sole 2GB RAM + 16GB storage version of the Galaxy A01 is priced at VDN 2,790,000 (approx. Rs 8,550) and will be available for purchase in Vietnam starting February 6 in black, blue and red colors. There is no word on when the Galaxy A01 will make its way to other regions.
