Last month, South Korean giant Samsung has launched the Galaxy M series smartphone Galaxy M10 and M20 in India. Another phone from the same series Galaxy M30 is also set to launch on February 27. Now, the company is gearing up to unveil ‘Galaxy A’ series in India.
As per a report by MSP, sources have informed them that the Samsung A series smartphones will launch on February 28. It is worth to mention that the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is set to launch Redmi Note 7 in India on the same day.
Some of the models from Samsung A series are expected to be the Samsung Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A70, and Galaxy A90. But, according to the report, Samsung will initially launch the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, and the Galaxy A30 smartphones in India.
“This Feb, unveil the power with the all new Samsung Galaxy A Series,” the company said in the notice to all its members. “Mark your calendars for 28th Feb: Big things are coming and we are super excited to let you know that there is more up our sleeves with the Galaxy A Series. We are coming to your cities – Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad to unveil our latest, so let’s share an evening together,” the notice reads.

Recently, Galaxy A50 was certified by Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG with a model number A505FN/DS. After a few days, the device also popped on Geekbench. As per the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy A50 will be powered by Exynos 9610 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage and backed by 4000mAh battery.
Earlier reports also claimed that the mid-range Galaxy A10 is likely to come with Under-Display fingerprint sensor & Snapdragon 845 SoC. Popular leakster Evan Blass hinted that higher variant on the A series, Galaxy A90 will feature pop-up selfie camera that we’ve seen on Mi Mix 3, Vivo NEX and Vivo V15 Pro. Further, he even claimed that the Galaxy A90 could have an edge-to-edge display with no notch or punch hole in the display.
As per the previous reports, Galaxy A series will be priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 50,000. There is still time to the projected date of February 28 and one hopes the Samsung will make an official announcement of the exact date of the launch of the A series.
