| By Shandilya

These days popular android brands are working on the software tool that improves the device low light photography. Already we had seen Huawei P20 Pro with its night mode and recently google also introduced Night Sight with an Android Pie update for all Pixel devices. It seems that Samsung is also on the same list which is also busy enhancing the low light photography to its devices.

According to a report by XDADevelopers, The Korean company is also going to work on developing a camera feature called Bright Night. And this feature would in integrated with One UI – Samsung’s custom skin that runs on top of Android Pie. By the name itself, we can speculate that the feature will work best during night-time or in areas with low light. Reportedly the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 would be the first smartphone to implement Bright Night.

As per the report the Samsung’s Bright Night was spotted on stock Samsung Camera APK included in the latest Galaxy Note 9‘s OneUI beta version. This also suggests that this feature will be integrated into custom skin which is compatible with all Galaxy devices.

We are just far away to see the bright Night mode in action, where this is to be close to the Google Night Sight mode or other such modes in different devices. OnePlus calls theirs “Nightscape”, Xiaomi calls it “Night Scene”, while Huawei and Honor have “Night Mode” and “Super Bright Mode” respectively. Summing up, All these features offer, taking multiple pictures and combining them into a single brighter image with more detail in the low-light environment. This mode doesn’t rely on LED flash, and hence, most of the shots aren’t overexposed.

We are not sure about the upcoming flagship might rollout with whole One UI package. But as per reports suggests that the new feature would freshly rollout by the exclusive Samsung Galaxy S10. Based on a separate report, Samsung has started manufacturing the devices which are likely to come in three models – Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 Plus – and a 5G variant. These phone s will allegedly be launched on February 20th, a few days ahead of MWC 2019, and will probably start selling as soon as early March.
