Xiaomi is expected to launch its new flagship device in the coming days. While we are a few days away from the launch, a new leak states that the company could have more surprises up its sleeve with the hint of a new laptop to be launched alongside.
Though the launch of Xiaomi laptop along with Redmi flagship is unconfirmed so far, the new laptop is expected to be the first laptop under sub-brand Redmi. As per the report, the Redmi laptop is billed to come with a cheaper price than Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook range.
After being in the rumors mills for quite a few months, the Redmi’s flagship device is reportedly launching on 13 May and the upcoming Redmi flagship is expected to come in two models. According to the recent leak, the handset will launch in three colors – Red, Blue, and Carbon Fibre – and it will be available in a total of four variants.
The Redmi flagship is reported to pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, in-display fingerprint sensor and triple rear cameras. The triple rear cameras are likely to include 48-megapixel primary camera, assisted by an 8-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors. Up front, it might feature 32-megapixel sensor for a selfie. It comes with a 6.39-inch display. However, there has been no confirmation from the company’s end yet on the specifications and the India launch.
A recent leak revealed that the Redmi’s first Snapdragon 855 chipset powered phone will be called the Redmi K20 Pro. Moreover, the company’s CEO Lu Weibing said that the phone won’t be called as the Redmi X.
