Samsung working on a next-generation foldable phone, dubbed as Galaxy Fold 2 and it has been confirmed by several leaks for a while now. Today, a new report has revealed the pricing, launch date, and the camera specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2.

According to the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Ross Young, the Galaxy Fold 2 will be unveiled in August alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series. Moreover, he stated that the smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup that will comprise of 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor paired with a 16-megapixel sensor. Furthermore, the device is confirmed to come equipped with dual optical image stabilization.
As per Ross Young, the forthcoming Galaxy Fold 2 will be cheaper than the Samsung’s first-generation foldable phone, Galaxy Fold. He revealed that the Galaxy Fold 2 will be launched with a price tag between $1880 to $1895 (approx. Rs 1,44,000). The phone is already confirmed to arrive with a large display for the front, better cameras, S Pen, and 5G support.
Earlier, he revealed the Galaxy Fold 2 will pack a 7.59-inch LTPO OLED display with a screen resolution of 1689 x 2213 pixels and 372DPI and 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a 6.23-inch LTPS OLED front display with a screen resolution of 2267 x 819 pixels along with a 60Hz refresh rate.
Going by the previous reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will launch in Martian Green and Astro Blue color options.
