Xiaomi has announced a Redmi Watch in China. Priced at CNY 299 (approx. Rs 3,300), it is already up for pre-orders in the country. Unfortunately, there are no details on whether it will be launched in India or not.
As a pre-order offer, the brand is offering the smartwatch for a discounted price of CNY 269 (approx. Rs 3,000). It will go on sale in Elegant Black, Ink Blue, and Ivory White colors and five strap color variants will be available for buyers that include Elegant Black, Ink Blue, Ivory White, Cherry Blossom Powder, and Pine Needle Green.
The Redmi Watch comes with a square dial that offers a better viewing experience. The brand claims to offer up to 7 days of battery life in a single charge and up to 12 days of usage in battery saving mode. The watch also comes with a 24×7 heart rate monitor and offers seven sports modes that include outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, walking, swimming, and free activities. It also hasNFC support for payments.
It sports a 1.4-inch 2.5D tempered glass screen that offers 320×320 pixels screen resolution. It is preloaded with 120 watch faces and comes with 5ATM water resistance, optical heart rate sensor, six-axis sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and ambient light sensor. At last, it has a battery capacity of 230mAh battery that takes approximately two hours to charge fully.
