Xiaomi has finally confirmed the India launch date for the Redmi Pad. According to an official announcement, the Redmi Pad will debut in India on October 4. It will be the first tablet under the Redmi brand and we expect it to hit global markets on the same day. In addition, Xiaomi posted a teaser image online revealing the Redmi Pad’s design.

In terms of price, the Redmi Pad tablet will likely be less expensive than the Xiaomi Pad 5 and could be priced below Rs 20,000. This will put it up against devices like the Realme Pad X, Oppo Pad Air, and Moto Tab G62. Now, the renders and complete specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Pad tablet have surfaced online. 

Redmi Pad Specifications

The Redmi Pad reportedly features a 10.6-inch 2K resolution LCD display panel offering a 90Hz refresh rate and 400nits peak brightness. In addition, the tablet may be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor coupled with a Mali G57 GPU.

As for the battery, it is said that the Redmi Pad is powered by an 8,000mAh capacity battery that supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. The device is said to come with an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. 

According to reports, the Redmi Pad has a Dolby Atmos audio-supported quad-speaker setup. The device will weigh 445 grams and measure 250.38 × 157.98 × 7.05mm. In addition, there will be a microSD card slot.

 Graphite Gray, Lunar Silver, and Mint Green are the expected colors for the Redmi Pad.
