Redmi Note 9T passes by Geekbench, confirms it is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 5G

Redmi Note 9T is gearing up to launch a smartphone soon. Ahead of its official launch, the smartphone has also hit the benchmarking site Geekbench.

Redmi Note 9 5g

The device appeared on Geekbench with model number M200722G. The device was spotted with the same model number on Thailand’s NBTC certification site and also on Malaysia’s (SRIM) certification site. This seems to confirm that it should be a rebadged Redmi Note 9 5G

While the Geekbench listing does not reveal the name of the processor, the listing shows the MT6853T processor. The listing only notes an octa-core processor with a 2.0GHz clock speed.  This is the same processor that was spotted powering the Redmi Note 9 5G when it was identified on Geekbench a while back. It could mean the Note 9T might also be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor.

Additionally, the device can be seen sporting 4GB RAM from the listing. The device managed to score 598 in the single-core test and 1760 in the multi-core test. That said, the listing also shows that the device runs Android 10 out of the box.

Unfortunately, we don’t have official news regarding the launch date of the Redmi Note 9T. Keeping the leaks aside, Xiaomi is yet to officially provide a launch date for or even confirm the existence of the phone.
