Xiaomi is likely to announce the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G soon. Ahead of the launch, two smartphones that reportedly belongs to the Redmi Note 9 5G series has appeared on TENAA’s database. The product listings in the TENAA database haven’t been populated with specifications yet, however, they do indicate the presence of 5G support.
Redmi Note 9 5G Specifications
It is believed that the M2007J22C model number belongs to the Redmi Note 9 5G phone. It is expected to feature a 6.53-inch full HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels. The handset reportedly packs MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC and is likely to launch with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM and with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options. It also has support for microSD cards (512GB).
The Redmi Note 9 5G will reportedly flaunt a display with a punch-hole cutout to house the 13MP selfie snapper. It’s said to house a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor. Other features will include a 4,900mAh battery and 5G support. It is expected to measure 161.96×77.25×9.20mm and weigh 200 grams.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is listed with model number M2007J17C. It is tipped to pack a 6.67-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display. Under the hood, it will be fuelled by an unspecified octa-core processor (likely to be the Snapdragon 750G So). It is said to come with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM and with 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of internal storage.
The listing also suggests that the phone will have a 108MP primary camera on the back and a 16MP sensor. could be powered by the 4,720mAh battery. It is expected to measure 165.4×76.8×9.0mm and weigh 214.5 grams.
