Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 last week in China and in the first flash sale of the phone 100,000 devices were sold in just 8 minutes 36 seconds. The second flash sale also ended in just around nine minutes with a reported 100,000 devices sold in China. Now, the new reports are suggesting that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro might soon be a reality and will be introduced next month.
The first ever leak of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro had hinted at the Redmi Note 7 Pro will have a Sony’s IMX586 sensor powered 48-megapixel camera on the rear. Now according to a new post by a leakster on Weibo, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will launch with a Snapdragon 675 SoC. If the report is true, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be one of the first phones to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 SoC.
In October last year, American Chipset maker Qualcomm released the new Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform that comes loaded with outstanding gaming capabilities, stellar camera features, AI smarts, and powerful performance. The new Qualcomm Kryo 460 CPU supports and excels in an outstanding range of on-device activities, with enhanced efficiency and speed. According to the Qualcomm, the new SD 675 offers 50% faster performance than the previous generation. It supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ technology and comes with the ability to capture Ultra-HD (4K at 30fps) videos with Motion Compensated Temporal Filtering and HD (720p) video recording at 480fps.
Coming to the Redmi Note 7 price, a tipster on Weibo reported that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will retail with a price tag of CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 15,800). To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 launched in three variants in China – the 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage model has been priced at 999 Yuan (approx. Rs 10,500), the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model has been priced at 1,199 Yuan (approx. Rs 12,500), while the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model has been priced at 1,399 Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price leaked; to launch in October this year Yuan (approx. Rs 14,500).
