Redmi Note 10S gets a price cut in India: New price, specs & more

Xiaomi has slashed the price of the Redmi Note 10S in India. The handset made its debut in India in May last year. Now, the company has slashed the price of its mid-range smartphone up to Rs 2,000. making it more affordable.

The base variant of the Redmi Note 10S is now available for Rs 12,999. To recall, this variant was available earlier for Rs 14,999. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB+ 128G variant of the phone now cost Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,499, respectively. These models were launched for Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,499, respectively.

Although the price cut seems permanent, it has not been officially confirmed. The smartphone is already available with the new price on Amazon and Mi.com. The device is available in four colors: Cosmic Purple, Deep Sea Blue, Frost White, and Shadow Black.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Specifications

As far as specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 10S packs a  6.43-inch FHD Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 AMOLED screen, up to 1100 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. 

On the back, there is a quad-camera module that comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor, the phone may come with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the front of the phone.

MediaTek Helio G95 processor drives the device. The device comes with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Moreover, the storage space can be expanded up to 512GB via a MicroSD card. Additionally, it is IP53-rated for dust and water resistance.

The device runs on a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W charging. The phone ships with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. Among the other features are Hi-Res Audio dual-stereo speakers, a splash-proof design, Z-Axis Haptics, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster.
