The Redmi K40 is scheduled to launch on February 25 in China. Ahead of the launch, the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro full specifications have appeared on TENAA with the model numbers M2012K11AC and M2012K11C.
Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro Specifications
According to TENAA, Xiaomi has opted for a 6.67-inch display on the Redmi K40 smartphones. The devices will be powered by a 4,420mAh battery with fast charging (the battery will probably be marketed as 4,500mAh). Both the phones will have 5G and 4G LTE connectivity. The handsets will run Android 11 OS with the latest MIUI 12.5 custom skin on top. It is tipped to measure 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8 mm.
Coming to the other specs, earlier leaks have revealed the Redmi K40 smartphone will come with an FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, pack the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Moreover, the smartphone will have at least 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is expected to run on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 skin out of the box.
Redmi K40 Pro, on the other hand, will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. It is tipped to feature a QHD+ AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will house a 108MP primary camera. It is said to pack 256GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro at the moment, but we should know more in the coming days.
