The latest reports have confirmed recent rumors surrounding the announcement of another Redmi K30 series smartphone. Xiaomi has now confirmed that the Redmi K30S will be announced on October 27. The Redmi K30S has been rumored for quite a while now, with recent ones indicating the Redmi K30S will be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T smartphone.
According to the posters shared by the brand on Weibo, the Redmi K30S will be offered in two colors: black and silver. On the rear side, the phone will feature a rectangular-shaped triple camera setup with 64-megapixel primary sensor and an LED flash.
Going by the earlier leaks and reports, the forthcoming Redmi K30S will have a 6.67-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate display. For biometric authentication, the phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, it might pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor with support for 5G networks. It will be offered in up to 12 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 native storage.
Software-wise, the handset would ship with MIUI 12 skin based on Android 10 OS. It is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In terms of optics, the phone is said to come equipped with a 64-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, there will be a 20-megapixel camera on the front.
