Xiaomi’s much-anticipated Redmi K30 will be unveiled on December 10 in China. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone has been spotted on benchmark listing website, AnTuTu. The device scored 302,847 points which is impressive.
So far, Xiaomi has managed to keep most of the details about the Redmi K30 under wraps and only some of it has been out on the web.
According to the AnTuTu listing, the variant draws its power from a Snapdragon 765G SoC. In other aspects, the latest real-life score of the AnTuTu reveals that the handset scored 98,651 points on the CPU test and 87,564 points on the GPU test. MEM score and UX score stands at 57,985 points and 58,647 points respectively.
Talking about the Snapdragon 765G SoC, it is a 7nm octa-core processor that includes one Kryo 475 Prime (Cortex-A76) CPU working at 2.4GHz, one Kryo 475 Gold (Cortex-A76) CPU clocking at 2.2GHz, and six Kryo 475 Silver (Cortex-A55) working at 1.8GHz. The chipset comes with Adreno GPU for graphics that promises 38 percent improved performance than its predecessor Adreno 618 GPU.
The chipset is integrated with X52 5G modem that promises 3.7Gbps 5G download speeds and 1.6Gbps 5G upload speeds over sub-6GHz and mmWave. The chipset carries support for up to dual 16-bit 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Furthermore, it supports Quad HD+ with 60Hz refresh rate and full HD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR10+ and Rec2020 color gamut.
Before the official launch, a lot has been talked about the Redmi K30. Some rumours suggest that the Redmi flagship may come in two versions — Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro. While the Redmi K30 is launching on December 10, the Pro variant is reportedly launching in 2020.
As far as other specs of the handset are concerned, the Redmi K30 is tipped to come with 6.67-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ punch-hole display which will house dual camera sensors. Xiaomi already confirmed the 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging on the device.
The quad camera setup on the phone will include a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686, 8-megapixel (telephoto), a 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) and 2-megapixel sensor. Up front, it will feature 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual front-facing cameras.
The 5G variant of the Redmi K30 will come with support for SA and NSA dual-mode, the company is also confirmed that there will be a cheaper variant of the Redmi K30 which will come with 4G connectivity support.
