Xiaomi officially confirmed that it will launch the Redmi K20 flagship series smartphones on May 28 in China. Ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi has already revealed some of its key features.
After the launch of OnePlus 7 Series smartphones, Manu Kumar Jain, MD of Xiaomi India posted on his official twitter saying “Congratulations OnePlus for the launch of OnePlus 7 Series, Flagship Killer 2.0 is coming soon.” It also confirmed that Redmi K20 Pro will be backed by the powerful Snapdragon 855 processor.
Ahead of the official launch, the price and key specifications have appeared on Weibo. According to this leaked poster, the Redmi K20 Pro with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage comes for 2,599 Yuan (Rs.26,000) while the Redmi K20 Pro with 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage comes for 2,799 Yuan (Rs.28,000) The top end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage comes with a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (Rs 30,000).

Not only the prices, but the poster also revealed some key specifications of the upcoming Redmi K20 Pr0. Based on the poster, Redmi K20 will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 Processor and backed by a 4000mAh battery. It will also sport a triple camera setup on the back comprising of a 48MP primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide angle camera and an 8MP telephoto lens camera.
Among the Redmi K20 series, Redmi K20 Pro may be the top-end flagship smartphone while the Redmi K20 is a slightly downgraded variant of the Pro edition. Packed with many premium features and an affordable price tag, Redmi K20 Series smartphones may challenge the recently launched OnePlus 7 series and Honor 20 series.
