Redmi K20 Pro 12GB RAM Variant Spotted on TENAA, Specifications Tipped

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi had unveiled the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones earlier this week, and now the company seems to introduce a new variant of the handset. The new variant, which will pack whopping 12GB of RAM, has been appeared on the Chinese regulator TENAA’s website giving out some details about the device.

According to the new TENAA listing, new Redmi K20 Pro will be available in the 12GB RAM variant similar to all recent flagship phones from various brands. Other than that, we already know that the phone will have a 20MP pop-up selfie camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor. Except for the RAM and internal storage on the new variant rest of the specifications should be the same. Besides the 12GB RAM, the listing also revealed the pink, white, green, purple, and gray color options along with the already available blue, red, and black.

The Redmi K20 Pro originally comes with up to 8GB of RAM with up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. The Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full HD+ panel with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and 91.9% screen to body ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. It features a 20MP pop-up camera for selfies. On the rear, it sports a 48-megapixel primary camera, 13-megapixel secondary camera with a wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel camera. The Redmi K20 Pro packs a 4,000mAh unit with support for 27W fast charging. The handset runs on custom MIUI 10, which is based on Android 9 Pie.
