Xiaomi Redmi 9A has received a new variant in China that packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The new variant sits alongside the existing 2GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB models that was launched in India earlier this month with a starting price of Rs. 6,799.
Apart from RAM and storage capacity, the rest other specs and features are the same as the new 6GB variant of the Redmi 9A. The new variant of the Redmi 9A is likely to hit the Indian market soon.
Xiaomi Redmi 9A Specifications
Xiaomi Redmi 9A flaunts a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a 2GHz octa core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Alongside the processor, the device packs up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
It sports a single 13-megapixel camera and a selfie shooter of 5-megapixel. The device lacks fingerprint sensor. The phone ships with 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.
The handset ships with Android 10-based MIUI 11 skin which will be upgradable to MIUI 12. Connectivity features include support for Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C.
