The Redmi 9 Power and Redmi 9A smartphones were launched last year at affordable prices in India. Xiaomi has hiked the prices of these phones on both online and offline stores today.

There has been a Rs 500 increase in the price of the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power. It now retails for Rs 13,499 from its original price of Rs 12,999. Meanwhile, the Redmi 9A, which was previously available for Rs 7,499, is now priced at Rs 7,799.
Redmi 9 Power Specifications
The Redmi 9 Power features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 400 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Snapdragon 662 is at the heart of this device. Redmi 9 Power has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB/128 GB of internal storage. The device has a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 512GB
There is an 8-megapixel front camera with dual flash on the device. The device has three cameras on the backside, including a 48 megapixels primary camera, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, and a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
It ships with MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS and GLONASS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, it comes with a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Redmi 9A Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi 9A features a 6.53-inch IPS HD+ display with 1600x 720 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This device is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor and also has a PowerVR GE8320. Along with 2GB of RAM, the phone also packs 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
A single 13-megapixel camera is found on the back, while the 5-megapixel selfie camera is found on the front. There is no fingerprint sensor on this phone.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone and supports 10W fast charging. Android 10-based MIUI 11 is pre-installed on the handset and will be upgradable to MIUI 12. This device supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and GLONASS, as well as USB Type-C.
