Xiaomi is all set to unveil the Redmi 8A entry-level smartphone in a special event on September 25. With just days to go for the launch, we have quite a fair idea on what to expect from the device as the phone leaked several times on the internet. Adding to that list of leaks is the price tag.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A Pricing Leaked
According to the report, the Redmi 8A will be arriving in three models such as 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, 3GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. These models are rumored to be respectively priced at Rs. 6,499, Rs. 6,999 and 8,999 in India.

Earlier TENAA listing of the phone had shared the entire specifications of the Redmi 8a device along with its images. Yesterday, official teaser posted by Xiaomi also revealed the waterdrop notch on the front of the device.
According to the TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Redmi 8A will sport a 6.2-inch dot-notch display panel featuring 1520 x 720 pixels screen resolution. It will be powered by an unspecified 2.0GHz octa-core processor with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB. As for optics, the handset will boast a 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP snapper on the front. It will run Android 9-based MIUI 10 out of the box. There will be a massive 5000mAh battery under the hood. The TENAA listing also reveals that the phone measures 156.3 x 75.4 x 9.4mm and weighs 188 grams.
Connectivity options will include Dual SIM, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS and a micro-USB port. The phone will measure 156.3×75.4×9.4mm and weighs 190 grams.
