Redmi 8A Dual has received a new variant in India that has 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The new variant sits alongside the existing 2GB + 32GB and the 3GB + 32GB models that were launched in the country earlier this year with a price tag Rs 7,499 and Rs 7,999 respectively. It will be available in three color options, namely Midnight Grey, Sky White, and Sea Blue.

Redmi 8A Dual boasts a 6.22-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with a 1520×720 pixels resolutions, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and splash-resistant coating.
On the rear, the phone has dual camera sensors that include a 13-megapixel primary shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, it has an 8-megapixel camera.

The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has a Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of native storage. The memory is further expandable via a dedicated MicroSD card up to 512GB.
It runs on Android 10-based MIUI 11 and backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging through USB Type-C. The dual-SIM device supports VoLTE on both SIM cards as well as VoWiFi. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.20, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
