Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi Y3 in India on April 24. Xiaomi might also launch Redmi 7 on the same day along with Redmi Y3.

Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director of Xiaomi India tweeted yesterday highlighting the sale of 7 million units of Xiaomi’s Redmi Y series smartphones.

But the way in this photo focuses on ‘7’ and the line “But Y 7?”,  We can assume that Xiaomi is bringing the Redmi 7 on April 24 along with the Redmi Y3.

Redmi 7 has already been launched in China and the company does not want to delay its launch in India because India is a big market for Xiaomi. As far as launching two phones at a time, Xiaomi has already done this experiment before with Redmi Note 7. 

According to a leak by tipster Ishaan Agarwal, it pointed out that Redmi 7 can be launched soon in India with the Redmi 7A and Redmi Y3. The company already confirmed the launch of Redmi Y3 but no information has been provided on behalf of the company about the Redmi 7.

Redmi 7 Specifications and Price

Redmi 7 will be featured with a 6.26 inch HD + display with 720×1520 pixel resolution which also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For photography, it has a dual rear camera setup of 12MP primary camera and a 2 MP depth effect camera. It also got an 8MP selfie camera.

This smartphone is powered with Snapdragon 632 SOC processor paired with 4GB RAM. Redmi 7 is also backed with a heavy 4000mAh battery. There’s no information related to the price of the smartphone is available and should wait for the company’s official announcement. But it is expected to be priced between Rs.7,000 – Rs.10,000.
