Redmi 10X teased to launch with AMOLED display, 30X zoom and dual sim 5G support

Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event on May 26 where the company will be taking the wraps off its Redmi 10X smartphone. The company released a teaser today, revealing that the 5G phone will support 5G on both SIM card slots and an AMOLED display. So, with the help of a Xiaomi’s official teaser on Weibo, we know a little bit more about the upcoming phone.

In a Weibo post, the shared a poster bragging about the support for 5G. Further, in separate posts, it is also confirmed to feature an AMOLED display. The device will also support the 30x zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). The brand has further teased that the smartphone will be highly customizable with text, patterns, and even images.

Going by the earlier post by Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing, the forthcoming Redmi 10X will be fuelled by the MediaTek’s new Dimensity 820 SoC that supports dual 5G connectivity. Also, the brand recent Weibo post suggested that the company will now leverage this technology to offer 5G connectivity on both the SIM card slot on the device.

While the company has not revealed information about the other specs, Redmi recently had confirmed that the Redmi 10X will pack a quad-camera setup on the rear that will comprise a 48-megapixel primary camera. The device is already up for pre-bookings on a Chinese e-retailer suggesting the 4G variant as well. Also, the listing revealed that the phone will be unveiled in  Blue, Gold, Purple, and White color variants. The 4G variant of the Redmi 10X is tipped to launch with up to 6GB of RAM, whereas the Redmi 10X 5G model is expected to hit the market with up to 8GB RAM.

To know for sure what the phone packs, as well as their pricing and availability details, we’ll have to wait for a few more days for the official launch event.
